Minorities Rights Day 2017
Al-Barkaat Institute of Education observed the Minorities Rights Day on 18th December 2017 for promoting the actual and legal rights of Minority communities. On this occasion the students of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. discussed the Rights of Minorities given in Indian Constitution and the role of National Commissions for Minorities for their uplift through speeches and slide presentations.
The purpose of observing the day was to generate awareness among the students about the actual and legal rights of minorities in our country so that they must behave sensibly if any majority-minority issues arise. No person should get influenced negatively and harm each other, thereby creating unrest in the country.
