Patriotic fervor swept the ABIE on Saturday as it celebrated 69th Independence Day. The celebrations marked by unfurling of tricolor, colorful parades and other events in the Institute passed off enthusiastically.

Al-Barkaat campus is spread over more than one lakh square yards of land, in the close vicinity of Aligarh Muslim University. The majestic institute building has launched the Bachelor of Education programme during the session 2008-09. 

Teacher education has to become more sensitive to the emerging demands of the school system.
