SYMPOSIUM ON HUMAN RIGHTS: PRESERVATION AND VIOLATION

A Symposium on Human Rights: Preservation and Violation was organized by Al-Barkaat Institute of Education, in collaboration with the People’s Union for Civil Liberties, Aligarh on December 10, 2014.

The aim of the symposium was to bring researchers, academicians, business community and research scholars on a common platform to share their knowledge, experiences and research findings about the Human Rights, with reference to its preservation and violation.

The Chief Guest of the function was Mr. Zafar Alam, Assistant Commandant, RAF . Dr. Mohibul Haq, General Secretary, PUCL, Aligarh, the technical collaborator of the Symposium, Dr. Shakeel Samdani, Professor, Deptt of Law, AMU, Prof. SalahUddin Qureshi, Ex-Chairman, Dptt of Geography, AMU, and Prof. Sameena Khan, Dptt of English, AMU, Aligarh were the keynote speakers of the symposium.
