Organization of Hobby Ideas Workshop – 7 to 10 March 2022

A four-day Hobby Ideas Workshop on the theme ‘Artist in Me’ was jointly organized by the Department of Fashion Designing and Garments Making and ABIE from 7^th -10^th March 2022, in Collaboration with Pidilite Industries Limited, Kanpur. The workshop was organized in view to refine the creative skills and promote novel thinking among the students who are going to be future teachers so as to use these creative craft techniques in their teaching methods to engage the students. All the students from ABIE, NCPUL, Syed Hamid Community College, and Al-Barkaat S.M. Afzal Vivo Health Care Institute participated enthusiastically in the workshop.

Ms. Rifa Nasir and Mrs. Rashmi Anand, Fevicryl Certified Professional Trainer, Aligarh were the resource persons for the workshop.

The workshop equipped the students with different painting skills like taping technique, fabric painting, tie and dye with different knots, molding bottle design, coaster making, mandala patterns, leaf design, painting on canvas, jewelry making, deco patch, liquid embroidery, glass painting, etc.
