Observance of World Tuberculosis Day on 23rd March 2023

In observance of ‘World Tuberculosis Day’ on 23rd march 2023, Al-Barkaat Institute of Education, Aligarh screened a live programme of Prime Minister Sri Narendra Modi Ji in the ICT Room. He addressed the One World TB Summit organised by the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare (MoHFW) on the occasion of World Tuberculosis Day. He credited India’s robust pharma industry as a major strength for the world’s fight against TB, mentioning India’s target of ending TB is the year 2025.

“India is now working on the goal of eliminating TB by the year 2025. The global target of ending TB is the year 2030, but India is working on the goal of ending TB by 2025,” he added. All the students and faculty members of ABIE attended the live programme patiently.
