Observance of International Day of Persons with Disabilities on Dec. 3, 2021

Al-Barkaat Institute of Education organized an offline program in observance of the International Day of Persons with Disabilities on 4th December 2021 under the cultural Programme Organizing Committee of ABIE. The day is observed every year around the world on 3rd December. The annual observance of the International Day of Disabled Persons was proclaimed in 1992, by the United Nations General Assembly resolution 47/3. The observance of the Day aims to promote an understanding of disability issues and mobilize support for the dignity, rights, and well-being of persons with disabilities. 

On this occasion, various events were organized like skits, speeches, poems, etc. All the students of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. participated in the program.
