Children’s day Celebration 2021

Children’s Day or Bal Diwas is celebrated every year on November 14, in India. The special day is celebrated in remembrance of India’s first Prime Minister Jawahar Lal Nehru, born on November 14, 1889, he was also known as Pandit Nehru. Nehru, who was fondly called Chacha Nehru or simply Chachaji, was very popular amongst children for his love. November 14 marks Nehru’s devotion to the welfare, education, and development of children and young people.

All the teachers of ABIE organized a programme on November 13, 2021 to make this Children’s Day special and memorable for the students of B.Ed. and D.El.Ed. They presented various activities: Qawwali, Songs, Speach, and Skit to increase awareness about the rights, education, and welfare of children. The programme ended with refreshments and gifts distributed to students.
