Celebration of International Womens’ Day – 8 March 2022

Al-Barkaat Institute of Education celebrated International Women’s Day 2022 on 8^th March 2022 by organizing a cultural program under the Women Cell and Research & Extension Cell, ABIE. The theme as announced by the United Nation was Gender equality today for a sustainable tomorrow under the campaign of ‘#Break the Bias’. Dr. Afshan Anees and Dr. Saba Anees were the organizer of the program. On this occasion, students mesmerized the audience with their speeches, self-composed poetry, solo, and group songs, and skit on the theme ‘#Break the Bias’.

The program was a successful attempt to call on people to work towards a world that is equitable, inclusive, and free from bias and discrimination so the playing field is leveled for women moving forward.
