Al-Barkaat Institute of Education organized a 3-Day International ‘Students’ Professional Development Programme’ Dated: 4^th to 6^th December, 2023.

Al-Barkaat Institute of Education organized a 3-Day International ‘Students’ Professional Development Programme’ in an online mode from 4^th – 6^th Decemeber, 2023.

In this 3 days International SPDP, one Inaugural session, 3 Technical sessions followed by Valedictory session were arranged.

There were 4 International Speakers and two national speakers who talked on various topics related to the personality development of the students. There were around 80 participants in each session.

The programme started with an Inaugural session where Dr. Rubina Shahnaz, Principal of ABIE & Coordinator of the Programme welcomed the Key Note Speaker, Dr. Mohd Nasir, Department of Law, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. And the chairperson of the session Prof. Parvez Talib Department of Business Administeration, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. At the end Dr. Afshan Anees, Convenor of the programme proposed the formal vote of thanks.

In technical session 1 : Welcome Note and Vote of Thanks by Mrs. Shagufta, Assistant Professor, ABIE, Aligarh. Session Chaired and Concluded by Prof. M.J. Warsi, Linguistic Department, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

Resource person of the session was Prof. Parwaiz Karamat, Director FIANZ Training Academy, International Education Consultant with Wellington based organization New–Zealand Topic covered by him is Soft Skills.

In technical session 2: Welcome Note and vote of thanks by Dr. Tabussum Qamar, Assistant Professor, ABIE, Aligarh. Session Chaired and Concluded by Prof. Sajid Jamal, Department of Education, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

Resource persons of the session were Adamu Abu Bakar, Research fellow federal university kashere, Gombe state, Nigeria. Topic covered by him Era of Technology: Challenges and opportunities.

The second resource person was Bala Ushasri, Research Associate and Academician Ministry of Education, republic of Maldives.The topic covered by her is Presentation skill.

In Technical session 3 : Welcome Note by Dr. Afshan Anees, Assistant Professor, ABIE, Aligarh. Session Chaired and Concluded by Prof. Shahab Fazal, Department of Geography, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh.

Resource persons of the session were Mrs. Jurana Aziz PhD Fellow, University of Minnesota Twin Cities, USA. & Associate Professor in TESOL Institute of Education and Research University of Dhaka, Bangladesh. Topic covered by her is Self development.

The other resource person is Dr. Samina Fazli, Principal, ABK High School, Aligarh Muslim University, Aligarh. The topic covered by her Cultural and Social Etiquettes.

At the end Vote of Thanks by Mr. Himanshoo K. Sharma, Assistant Professor, ABIE, Aligarh. In Valedictory Session Welcome note and vote of thanks by Dr. Afshan Anees, Convenor of the Program. Valedictory Guest of the session was Faiza Abbasi, Director, UGC HRDC, Aligarh Muslim University.
