National Youth Day Celebration

On 12th January, 2015, students of ABIE celebrated National Youth Day to advance the youth spirit in students. National Youth Day is celebrated in India on 12th January on the birthday of Swami Vivekananda. In 1984 the Government of India declared the day as the National Youth Day and since 1985 the event is celebrated in India every year.
The Principal of the Institute in her speech quoting Swami Vivekananda said that he was always in search of real youth. By the word ‘real youth’, he never meant those young persons who have reached that stage considering age and physical appearance. Rather his definition of a real youth is those who are young and full of energy, strength, intellect, and a well built body. He always believed that the youths by age and physique if transformed into ‘real youths’, they will break all the hurdles which come in the way of growth and betterment.
The College organized various functions on this eve that added colours to the event.
