National Education Day Celebration:

Al-Barkaat Institute of Education celebrated National Education Day, commemorating the birth anniversary of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, with a program hosted by B.Ed. students. The event was anchored by Shumaila from the B.Ed. (2nd Year).

The program began with a Qirat presented by Alisha Anjum, followed by speeches from Ruqaiya and Sana. Khadeeja quoted significant thoughts of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad. Students from the B.Ed. (1st Year) performed a skit that highlighted the importance of education. This was followed by a poem recited by Adeeba and a Shayari presented by Ahmed Ali.

Dr. Rubina Shahnaz, the Principal, emphasized that education is the key to a better future and stressed the importance of ensuring that everyone has access to quality education. National Education Day honors the contributions of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad, India’s first Education Minister, who played a crucial role in shaping the country’s education system after independence. She noted that education fosters critical thinking and problem-solving skills, which can lead to happier, healthier lives.

The program concluded with teachers wishing everyone a Happy Education Day and sharing insights about Maulana Abul Kalam Azad and his impact on education. Shumaila delivered the vote of thanks at the end of event.
