Mock Interview Drill Organized under Placement Cell of ABIE (4th March 2023)

A Mock Interview Drill was conducted by Al-Barkaat Institute Education, Aligarh under
Placement Cell on 4 th March 2023 to provide students with an opportunity to practice and
improve their interview skills. The drill was attended by the students B.Ed. final year.
The mock interview drill was designed to simulate a real job interview, with students being
interviewed by experienced professionals having rich knowledge of the subject. The teachers as
the interviewers provided the students with feedback on their performance and offered
suggestions on how to improve their interview skills.
The drill started with a brief orientation session, where the students were given an overview of
the interview process and tips on how to prepare for interviews. The students were then called
one by one to face the interview. During the interview, the students were asked a series of
questions related to their qualifications, skills, and experience. The interviewers also asked
behavioral questions to assess the students' personality and suitability for the job.
After the interviews, the interviewers provided the students with feedback on their performance.
They highlighted the students' strengths and weaknesses and offered suggestions on how to
improve their interview skills. The feedback was constructive and helped the students identify
areas where they needed to improve.
Overall, the mock interview drill was a great success. It provided the students with a valuable
opportunity to practice their interview skills and receive feedback from experienced
professionals. The drill was well-received by the students, who appreciated the opportunity to
improve their interview skills and increase their chances of success in the job market. The
Placement Cell plans to conduct similar drills in the future to continue supporting students in
their career development.
