A Blood Donation Camp was organized in Al- Barkaat Institute of Education in collaboration with Blood Bank, Jawaharlal Nehru Medical College, AMU, Aligarh on 21st October, 2014 at 10:00 am in Hospital, Al-Barkaat Pem Prakash Hostel where Dr. Smriti Prasad, CMO, Blood Bank and Dr. Suhel Abbas, Consultant, Voluntary Blood Donation, JNMC were present. For this an Awareness Session was organized on 20th October, 2014 to eradicate the misconceptions and myths related to blood donation. In this camp the staff and students of all sister institutions like Al- Barkaat Institute of Management Studies, Al- Barkaat Islamic Research and Training Institute, Al- Barkaat College of Graduate Studies and Al-Barkaat Public School and Al- Barkaat Institute of Education participated and 57 unit blood was collected in total. The program was a great success.
