On November 13, 2024, the Al-Barkaat Institute of Education organized a guest lecture on breast cancer awareness specifically for females. The program was conducted online via the Zoom platform. The resource person for the event was Dr. Hina Afsar, an Associate Consultant at Sharda Care Health City in Greater Noida.

Dr. Afsar shared essential insights on breast cancer, addressing topics such as risk factors, symptoms, and the latest treatment options. Her expert guidance aimed to empower individuals to take charge of their breast health. The purpose of this lecture was to work towards a future with fewer breast cancer diagnoses through education, early detection, and proactive healthcare.

Dr. Rubina Shahnaz, the Principal, emphasized the importance of self-examination and awareness among girls and women to help protect themselves from breast cancer. At the end of the session, Dr. Tabussum Qamar proposed a vote of thanks.
